Andrea Surich

Andrea Surich came to PEI in 2015 for family reasons. Before arriving on the island, Andrea worked as Technical Director and Production Manager in a number of large theatres in Ontario. She has been working in professional theatre for over 35 years and is particularly passionate about mentoring theatre artists in all theatre production disciplines. Andrea immediately took on the position of General Manager of Watermark Theatre in North Rustico upon arriving in PEI. While there, she spearheaded a Mentorship Project with Skills PEI in Theatre Production that saw 16 interns per year placed in arts organizations across PEI. In 2020, Andrea took on a new challenge by becoming the General Manager for Theatre at the Confederation Centre for the Arts. Andrea lives in Harrington and has two daughters, both of whom work in the arts in Ontario.
