Faris Shafi
Faris Shafi is a Pakistani rapper, songwriter and actor. Performing in Urdu, English and Punjabi, Faris is considered one of the pioneers of Urdu rap in Pakistan. An emcee for over a decade, Faris is widely recognized for his notorious lyrical ability, with the Times of India describing him as the "uncensored voice of Pakistan''.
Faris started his music career back in 2012 with the release of "Awaam''. Over the past 10 years, he has released multiple singles that have all gained traction among audiences. His track "Introduction", which came out in 2021, was streamed over 500,000 times on Spotify.
In 2021, Faris was featured in Coca-Cola's anthem "Cricket Khidaiye" alongside Atif Aslam, for the T20 World Cup, and was also featured in Coke Studio Season 14 where he was part of two tracks that were a hit amongst the audiences; "Muaziz Saarif" and "Ye Dunya", as well as superhit "Blockbuster" in Coke studio season 16.
