JEAN YOON is an actor, playwright and theatre artist, living in Toronto. Jean began her stage career forty years ago working mostly on original Canadian plays with companies including Tarragon Theatre, Young People’s Theatre, Theatre Passe Muraille and Cahoots Theatre. Jean is known in the Toronto theatre scene as the writer/creator of The Yoko Ono Project (Theatre Passe Muraille, 2000) and Hongbu & Nolbu: The Tale of the Magic Pumpkins (Young People's Theatre, 2005).
