Michelle Monteith

Originally from Scotland, Michelle Monteith is an award-winning actor based in Toronto. As a leading actor, she has worked across Canada, as well as in the US, Germany and Shanghai. Michelle was most recently in Halifax with 2b theatre’s Revisited , a play that she, Christian Barry and Steven McCarthy created. Prior to that she was in Ubuntu , a Tarragon/Neptune Theatre co-production, and also garnered a Merritt-nomination for her performance in Neptune's The Diary of Anne Frank . This is Michele's fourth creative collaboration with Hannah Moscovitch. Michelle has starred in the Off-Broadway production and New York Times critics pick, Of Human Bondage by Vern Thiessen. She has had many starring roles in the renowned Soulpepper Theatre and has extensive film, tv and voice experience.
