Hailing from Ottawa, Jacob has a keen interest in all forms of audio production. He’s the technical producer of 4 shows that air on AMI-Audio. He’s also a producer and co-host on AMI-Audiobook Review, a program that covers things surrounding the ever-growing world of audiobooks. In addition, he produced, on a volunteer basis, two radio shows at CKCU, the Carleton University radio station. Connections and Welcome to my World are weekly radio shows that give a voice to members of the disability community.
Jacob studied television broadcasting at La Cité, then worked as an audio operator at the Cable Public Affairs Channel (CPAC) for over four years. In September 2021, he started at AMI-audio as an apprentice and has been working there ever since. You can hear him make regular appearances on many of AMI’s program
As a musician, Jacob regularly plays his piano, bass and guitar. Being blind, he also has a keen interest in accessible music production.
