Trixie & Beever
Trixie & Beever (Robin Woodward & Ange Beever) are a proudly indie and queer design duo that have been working together for over 20 years on a wide variety of creative projects.
They have worked together since the last millennium on their accessory and garment decoration artisan business BBJ Pop Merch. Custom work and collaborations with artists and creative businesses are their favourite part of this endeavour.
Ange Beever has returned to painting in recent years, applying her fine arts education to redirecting existing paintings and prints into absurd and delightful new works, dubbed Original Covers. Her skills and experience have also led her into the Toronto film and tv industry as a scenic painter and props worker.
Some of their favourite projects include immersive set design and performance in The Beauty Salon, and a few Hysteria and Rhubarb! Festivals at Buddies In Bad Times Theatre, as well as productions with performance troupe The Scandelles, and visual art gallery group shows. Combining hands-on crafting with digital technology and people brings them joy.
