Juno Award–winning powerhouse Divine Brown takes the stage for a made-for-Luminato Festival celebration of the legendary Minnie Riperton, the voice behind “Lovin’ You” and “Les Fleurs,” and one of the most influential yet unsung soul artists of her time. Alongside collaborators like Stevie Wonder and George Benson, Minnie helped shape the sound of soul, jazz, and R&B for generations to come.

Backed by a seven-piece band, string section and featuring DJ Starting From Scratch and Glenn Lewis, this high-energy concert connects Minnie’s iconic songs to the artists and producers who later sampled and remixed her sound, from A Tribe Called Quest and Fugees to J Dilla, The Roots, and Kaytranada.

This is a feel-it-in-your-body, sing-along, dance-in-your-seat kind of night, celebrating a voice that keeps showing up in the music we love today.
