Florent Devlesaver

Florent Devlesaver is a dancer, performer, choreographer and instructor living in Belgium. He has been a professional artist since 2018, specialising in contemporary dance. In addition to movement, Florent’s focus is on the human element, the living, drawing on what the world offers us to create narrative and emotion.

Born in Belgium in 1985, his art now takes him all over the world. Florent describes his particularity of being disabled. At the age of 17, Florent was the victim of a work accident and found himself in a wheelchair. It was by wanting to reclaim his body that he discovered the art of dance and fell in love with it. Florent’s journey is atypical, but he has managed to realise his dreams and acquire the skills of an internationally recognized professional dancer. From this singularity, Florent drew strength.
