JUNE 13-14
From June 13–14, Luminato Festival transforms Harbourfront Centre into a playground of free and ticketed music, circus, dance, and public art experiences for all ages.
Global sounds will fill the air with two outdoor music stages showcasing artists from across cultures and musical traditions, including Orkestar Kriminal (Montreal), GANNA (Ukraine/Berlin), WESLI (Haiti/Canada), Marta Elena (Cuba/Canada), Rashmeet Kaur (India), Aysanabee (Oji-Cree), and more. Workshops and performances invite audiences to move, sing, and celebrate alongside the musicians.
Look up! Aerial performers take flight with Quebec’s trailblazing Le Camion d’Intervention Artistique - CIART and New Zealand’s The Air Between Us, while Brazil’s Mal Perdedor (Bad Loser) delivers a hilariously inventive clown show blending archery, opera, and circus arts.
Additional highlights include Heartbreak Hotel (June 11–14), a cheeky, synth-driven theatre piece exploring the physiology of a broken heart, Lovin’ You: The Minnie Riperton Story (June 13), a celebration of the iconic singer led by Juno Award-winning Divine Brown with DJ Starting from Scratch, Glenn Lewis and more, as well as immersive public experiences such as Colourful Parachutes, and the Indigenous-led event The Power of the Land (June 6). Come explore the sights, sounds, and surprises of Toronto’s vibrant cultural landscape at Luminato at Harbourfront.
