Hand Eye Society

Hand Eye Society is a Toronto-based not-for-profit that supports emerging and independent
game developers and artists. We create opportunities to showcase work, develop skills,
receive mentorship, and share in the fun of a game-arts community that's as diverse,
passionate, and inventive as the medium itself.
Founded in 2009, Hand Eye Society emerged from Toronto’s growing independent game
development scene to support games as an artistic medium and to foster a sense of
community among creators. Since then, the organization has grown from grassroots showcases
into a platform for exhibitions, showcases, workshops, and hybrid programming that supports
game makers locally and connects them with wider audiences.
