Jane Moriarty

Jane Moriarty is a theatre, television and film director from Ireland. She has built an extensive international theatre career focusing on new writing, directing premiere productions of new plays by emerging and established writers. Jane was previously Resident Director at the National Theatre Studio in London. She has also worked as Associate Director on major West End productions such as Prima Facie, Kyoto and The Inheritance, with BAFTA and EMMY winning directors Justin Martin (Inter Alia, Together) and Stephen Daldry (The Crown, Billy Elliot).
Her recent television credit includes directing SHUSH, a single drama for RTÉ, which earned her the Young Directors Silver Screen Award in 2025. Her short films have screened at BAFTA, BIFA and Oscar-qualifying festivals worldwide.
